Aloha!
flirtypearlsadded an entry about
travel to Hawaii:

This place is beautiful. We went because my dad had a conference there, and my finals were over, so why not? Basically we went island hopping for 2 weeks. It was amazing!

Oahu had Honolulu and Wakiki Beach, but unfortunately, they are very crowded and extremely touristy.

Maui was very nice, and more hippie, which I enjoyed. I actually met up with a girl from college and had lunch while we were doing our day long tour there.

The Big Island is just that, big. It’s mostly fields of hardened lava, and not very beautiful, just lots and lots of lava beds. Possibly my least favorite island.

And then my favorite island, Kauai!! It was gorgeous. I saw the sunrise on a Hawaiian island. The time difference is huge from the mainland, so you wake up super early there. Then, of course, we went to the 1000 year old trail on the Napali Coast. Oh my god, it was breath-taking. The path gets super narrow and we only went 2 miles out of 12, but still worth it. One of the best experiences of my life. :)
